High School Students are trained in skills including Visual Basic. Selected students will compete in August at our National Conference in Detroit, MI. They will network with other students and professionals from more that 25 other US cities.

to BDPA Houston.

We are one chapter among more than 40 local BDPA Chapters in the US. This national organization was formed in Philadelphia, PA in 1975.

Meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of each month.

Venue:
Houston Area Urban League
1301 Texas Street,
(Downtown Houston)

Time:
6PM - 8PM CST


Come and Meet with IT companies and recruiters looking for you.

We also train High School Students from the Houston and other local Independent School Districts. Some of the areas of the training are Computer Internals, Visual Basic and Teamwork. Some of the students are taken on an all-expenses paid trip to the BDPA National Conference and National High School Competition.

The training and the meetings are all provided FREE.

As a member-based organization, BDPA depends on membership dues and corporate support for the funding of its programs.
