The Vice President of Business Management Responsibilities:
Shall be responsible for maintaining and obtaining accurate minutes of all
meetings of the chapter (e.g., Board of Directors, General Membership Meeting, 'Members-Only'). Make final copies of minutes available at the next board meeting for approval.
Shall be responsible for determining when a quorum has been reached at all
meetings of the chapter.
Chapter Goals and Objectives Document Coordinator
Shall serve as Chapter Annual Reporting Coordinator, Reports include:
Quarterly Report (1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th) to NBDPA, Annual Report to NBDPA and the submission of the Chapter of the Year documentation to NBDPA
Shall serve as delegate coordinator
Shall be the official 'BDPA Historian' and obtain the official files of all
chapter correspondence and documents (e.g., bylaws, Policies & Procedure manual, monthly reports & the Enterprise Transition Program).
Shall serve as the chapter liaison for the National Conference.
Shall provide copies of status reports and any other pertinent information by
e-mail to any board members that were absent at chapter meetings.
Shall store copies of minutes and other relevant reports in official binder and on
the chapter's website repository.
Shall obtain for new administration, prepare bank account signature cards and get
signatures.
Shall maintain an issues log of Board of Directors open and closed issues.
Shall monitor/support and maintain the department activities of the Special
Interest Group(s) department
Shall monitor/support and maintain the department activities of Internal/External
Support department
Shall monitor/support and maintain the department activities of Conference
Administration department
Shall submit a written status report on monthly activity to the BOD.
Shall be a registered attendee at the National BDPA Conference.
