President-Elect

President - Elect’s Responsibilities:

 

Shall serve as President in the absence of the President.

 

Shall serve as Vice President of Business Management.

 

Shall be the Assistant Vice President of Finance for the chapter.

 

Shall preside over all meetings of the chapter (e.g., Board of Directors, General Membership, 'Members-Only')

 

Shall coordinate the activities of the departments in a manner that encourages group interaction and promotes cooperation within the chapter leadership.

 

Shall monitor all departments activities (people, budgets, deadlines, deliverables) with project management software.

 

Shall provide active support/orientation for all new department directors, with the intent of satisfying individual needs, providing access to the tools/procedures necessary to develop good leadership, management, and technical skills.

 

Shall prepare written semi-annual operational reviews of the departments at the end of the first and third quarters

 

Shall submit the Annual Chapter Report for review/approval by the Board of Directors.

 

Shall serve as chapter parliamentarian.

 

Shall sign official documents of the chapter when requested to do so by the President.

 

Shall submit a written status report on monthly activity to the BOD.

 

Shall be a registered attendee at the National BDPA Conference.
