Outreach Department Responsibilities
Shall conduct a High School Computer Competition Program. Which includes
training and evaluation progress report.
Shall prepare and conduct a hands-on workshop for junior or high school students.
Shall develop programs/projects that have an impact in raising the computer
competency for people in the public school system, workplace, and community (including BDPA members' children).
Shall sponsor a major publicity/marketing campaign directed at increasing college
student's awareness and participation in BDPA.
Shall establish a student internship program.
Shall provide student scholarships of $2,500 per year.
Shall submit written monthly status report to the VP of Member Services.
Shall be registered attendee at the National BDPA Conference.
